A little bit more about Ginny....

We waited a long time for Ginny - the lovely team at the Twineham Greyhound Rescue Centre chose her for us. Their decision was based on her temperament and suitability for working with children and young people. Ginny was bred as a racing dog in Ireland. She is now 6 years old and has a second career. She used to come to school every day - she helped children who felt anxious make the transition into school, she joined reading intervention groups and she worked with children who needed a calm and supportive companion. She continues this work in whatever way is most appropriate when children come to her home for tutoring and assessments. 

If you or your child would prefer not to see Ginny when you visit that is absolutely fine too as she is quite content in a separate room .... so long as she has a comfy sofa!
